Good Sammy is seeking people with experience in retail to volunteer in their stores during periods of staff leave and during peak trading times.
Good Samaritan Industries’ Chief Executive Officer, Chris Jones said Good Sammy needs volunteers to provide support to the 15 Good Sammy metropolitan stores.
“We’re looking for people with experience in retail who have some time on their hands and want to lend a hand to a good cause,” he said.
“They’ll be helping Good Samaritan Industries provide employment and training to over 450 people with a disability in Western Australia.”
Good Sammy is the retail division of Good Samaritan Industries, retailing recycled clothing and household goods, as well as a range of brand new goods.
The role will include: receiving and preparing goods for sale, merchandising, point of sale transactions, assisting in security and loss prevention, customer service and stock take.
All volunteers will need to complete a one-day Good Sammy Retail Volunteer Induction and Training Program.
An information session will be held in February at Good Samaritan Industries head office in Canning Vale. To register, please contact Donna on 9463 0500.
