The health and safety of our team is important to us and we follow all Government instructions as they are announced.

Last Friday (March 31st) Good Sammy closed our retail stores to protect our staff and the community.  This was a tough decision as we know the public relies on us.  We are continuing to work through our fellow agencies such as the Uniting Church to provide clothing etc. to those in need particularly as we head into the cooler months of winter.

Regarding our logistics and processing facilities, these essential services are being managed by a small number of staff (25 – 30 people) who have chosen to continue to come in.  This large facility easily accommodates for more than the required 40m2 per person.  Our facilities are also regularly cleaned and the appropriate protection equipment is provided. We follow all safety measures as provided by the State Government.

We have a special team monitoring this situation as things evolve in this current environment.  We will continue to keep everyone informed as the situation changes.  Thank you for your continued support and compassion for those in need at this time.
